As part of the TSL Mission, we provide the TSO Musicians with “survival items.” Please, help and donate items or make a cash donation. Any amount or number that you can give is very much appreciated!
Look now for bargains as we collect items for placement in the travel gift bags we present to our TSO musicians. They seem to like things such as: little bottles of booze; lip balms; tissue packets; automatic pencils; ballpoint pens; packaged crackers, nuts, breakfast bars and mints; bottled water; post-a-notes; small notebooks. Consider things we have not given them before, such as mouthwash, travel toothbrushes, small tubes of toothpaste, dental floss, rulers, mini-staplers and stapler refills, paper clips, safety pins.
Helen Patton and TSO contact, Keith McWatters, have corresponded regarding the annual Musician Survival Bag project. The distribution of the tote-bag-filled treats has to be tabled until after the Christmas holidays due to the pandemic. Too little about scheduling is known at the present time. Feel free to shop when you see bargains, and report your donations to Helen Patton (jon.patton@utoledo.edu) or Joyce Stenberg (gncstenberg@aol.com).
