As part of the TSL Mission, we provide the TSO Musicians with “survival items.” Please, help and donate items or make a cash donation. Any amount or number that you can give is very much appreciated!
Look now for bargains as we collect items for placement in the travel gift bags we present to our TSO musicians. They seem to like things such as: little bottles of booze; lip balms; tissue packets; automatic pencils; ballpoint pens; packaged crackers, nuts, breakfast bars and mints; bottled water; post-a-notes; small notebooks. Consider things we have not given them before, such as mouthwash, travel toothbrushes, small tubes of toothpaste, dental floss, rulers, mini-staplers and stapler refills, paper clips, safety pins.
Randi Dier assures us that orchestra members will gratefully appreciate TSL’s tote-filled bags again this year during their musical performances in the community over the Christmas season. We will be filling 75 bags again this year.
At the Opening Luncheon on September 19, a sign-up sheet will be available for any TSL members willing to commit items or dollars toward the project. If you would like to donate, contact Helen Patton by email at [email protected] or call her at 419-304-8411, or Phyllis Wadley by email at [email protected] or call her at 419-699-5501.
